"Fuck green new deal" is an advance of "Dancing as an act of rebellion", the first Abraxas LP in collaboration with the Valencian label Soil Records, out next November the 4th.
The track is based on the same name's book published by Milvus Editorial (Fuck green new deal. Colapso y alternativas: anticapitalismo y autogestión. editorialmilvus.net/producto/fuck-green-new-deal/) and contains samples from the Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg's speech to world leaders at UN Climate Action Summit in NYC in 2019.
The music video is directed by Ruth Dupiereux in collaboration with Hansong Records. Watch it here: youtu.be/g59PRmlR63U
Music by Abraxas. Recorded at Abraxas home studio (Alcoi). Mixed by Abraxas and José Rodríguez at Estudio Antimateria/Moog24 (Elx). Guitar and bass guitar by Juan Ignacio Pérez Morales aka Juanig. Mastering by Rude 66 (Den Haag) Original speech by the Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, addressing to world leaders at UN Climate Action Summit in New York in 2019.
supported by 4 fans who also own “A2. Fuck green new deal”
A worthy successor to Your Dystopia, My Utopia.
The title track is a chewy, distorted, fucked up love letter to 2020. The final track a re-imagining of the now 30 year old FLA's Digital Tension Dementia.
