about

"Religious music for atheists" is the last Abraxas work in collaboration with the Valencian producer and DIY craftsman artist Bavs. The track, a kind of dirty rave-techno trip, contains samples from the EP "Música religiosa para ateos", produced using a great variety of metallic sounds, toy locutions, bass lines and above all, a treatment that oscillates clearly and is extremely dirty. In addition to this, Abraxas has added some surrealistic and hilarious dialogues taken from a televised "christian vs atheist" debate seen on American TV in the 80s.

Abraxas is a totally independent and self-managed project halfway between harsh electronic music, philosophical reflection and socio-political activism. Its main goal is to shake bodies and minds by spreading messages of individual and social self-criticism from the point of view of duality, extremes and contradictions, inherent to the human being and capitalist society..
